Over the years, I've amassed quite a collection of espresso, cappuccino, and coffee cups. Below is roughly half my collection, with information on them, where I got them from, how much they cost, etc.

A couple of notes. First, the camera never changed position on any of these pictures - the focal length (85mm) and the physical distance to each cup is the same (with the exception of the first picture, which was closer). I did this to show you the relative sizes of each item. Next, other than running them through auto-levels in photoshop (a technique to brighten the images a bit), these are unretouched. Lastly, I just noticed... I don't have a lot of colorful cups... it's either glass, white, or steel. Yikes! I need some color in my life! (ed note - man, has this changed with my illy cup fascination)  And speaking of color, Jeanette hand painted me the background pattern. Pretty cool, eh?

Latte Steel - $20 Bought from the defunct Eatons, tall latte / bar glass with matching spoon and saucer, limited edition, $20 for a pair.	Cafe au Lait - $5 One of my first Vancouver purchases, from Ikea. Big 16oz bowl perfect for cereals or authentic cafe au lait.	Lg Espresso, $14 Bought off eBay, set of four for $14. Handmade, handpainted, about 4 ounces total size. Awesome bright colours.	365 Espresso, $4 From Ikea's 365 series, $4 (Cdn) per cup and saucer, Jeanette bought me 2 of them.
365 Cappa, $4.50 Also from the 365 selection at Ikea, these are nice shaped white porcelain, a bit thin though.	365 Cups Espresso and cappuccino cups side by side for comparison	Cappa Cup, $4.25 Nice cups from www.espressosupply.com, 7 ounce capacity. Shot Glasses, $2 1 ounce straight to the line, these are great solid shot glasses bought from a Vancouver restaurant supply shop for about $2 each	Heavy Shot Glasses These come from www.espressosupply.com and cost $2.75 each. Bodum Bistro Cup These are the first "cool" cups I ever bought, in 1992. 7oz cups, hard to find any longer. Called "tea cups" by Bodum.	Espresso Pitcher, $4 Espresso pitcher bought from ECM in Vancouver for $4 Cdn per pitcher. I bought a couple. You have to look the role, right? ;)	Steel Shot Glasses These are from Starbucks, very cool looking, but not cool to handle - even with the rubber, they are too hot. Now rare.	Steel Cappuccino, $34 Steel Inox cappuccino cups from www.baratza.com are sold $34 per pair, and worth it - easily the best insulated cups I've ever used.
Steel Espresso $31 Same cups, but in espresso size. The only thing bad about these cups is the saucer, which doesn't match the cups' finish. Titanium Espresso These were custom made for me by a company I once did work for - they work Ti materials. These are extremely unique, and based on a design of a cup one of the owners has.	Tramontina Espresso Used to be very rare, but now Tramontina is making them again (Bed, Bath and Beyond has them). $16 per pair when I bought them in 1994.
Glass Espresso, $10/4 At first, I thought these were "da bomb" because I saw them in a glossy advertisement. Now they're sold everywhere. $10 for four.	Glass Cappa, $13/4 Matching cappuccino size. Again, these are good looking, but every kitchen store in Vancouver now has them.	Comparison Here's a comparison photo so you can see the size differences between the two cups.
